After volunteering for a day at an orphanage in Kenya while on vacation, I offered to set up a simple website for Rachel of Dream Children’s Home. I put this website together pro bono, installing WordPress and activating a theme called Watercolor 2.01 by Tim Sainburg. I modified the theme to include the name of the orphanage in the header, removing a background graphic that was previously there. All photos were taken with a Nikon SLR film camera while I was on location.

The site owners requested that I build a site that would be easy for them to update and maintain. I gave them a brief WordPress tutorial, and so far they’ve been able to make changes without any problems. WordPress has been a good solution for it’s ease of use and friendly interface.
